This 10-day event is a synergistic partnership to support Italian chefs across Malaysia. It also aims to create awareness of the health benefits of the Mediterranean diet and Italian ingredients, introducing the delightful simplicity of one of the world's best-loved cuisines.
“The economic sectors are reopening in Malaysia, and as an organisation that supports business and trade, we are confident that Italian Cuisine Experience 2021 will be able to uplift the spirit of the nation and travel through taste with eight different restaurants participating with individually customised menus," said Trade Commissioner of the Italian Trade Agency in Kuala Lumpur, Dr Filippo Fusaro.
"Looking for a hearty meal to celebrate with your loved ones? Whether in the form of various kinds of pasta, pizzas, risottos and even desserts, these restaurants will provide you with the origins of tasteful Italian meals. We continuously aspire to make it a journey for people to enjoy what our cuisine has to offer," Dr Fusaro added.
‘I would like to thank the Italian chefs for their support and for promoting the Italian cuisine in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia," said Ambassador of Italy to Malaysia, H.E Cristiano Maggipinto. "We want consumers to enjoy the special menus prepared by the chefs for this occasion. Eat Healthy, Taste Italy with us."
The Italian Trade Agency aims to continue highlighting the traceability, quality control and certifications of Italian food, helping Malaysians identify and explore authentic Italian produce to make informed purchases and enjoy the unrivalled quality of genuine Italian delicacies.
